Each flock is a true museum (Fig. 1), wherein we find grains of mineral substances associated with organic debris, and germs of living organisms, among which must be mentioned the microbes.

We were constantly checked by piles of fallen debris, and from one street we had to back the car out and go round by another way.

Section of the lower part of the horn tubes shows them to contain a cellular debris.
