We are lodged at Bologna in a very comfortable inn called Locanda d'Inghilterra. BOLOGNA, 22d August.

It has the imposing title of 'Locanda della Gran Bretagna.'

At ten o 'clock we arrived at a place called Cavanella, where is a locanda upon the canal which should have been open to receive us, but they were all asleep and no calling would rouse them.

There was a sort of muted outcry of the whole population awaiting them at the door of the locanda where they had halted before, and which now had the distinction of offering them shelter in a room especially devoted to the poor young lady, who still remained in her swoon.
